Just wanted to drop you a line to say, I enjoy reading your site. I thought about starting a blog myself but don’t have the time.
Oh well maybe one day…. 🙂
When a seller offers a 3% buyers agent commission and a $1,000 bonus to the selling agent, should the broker take a percentage of the bonus?
Aloha Gary,
Whether your broker ‘should’ take a predetermined percentage from the bonus would be spelled out in your contract – but typically, it is well within reason that the brokerage will take their split out of any monies paid to an agent. Best of luck.
Just wanted to drop by and say that I have followed many of your blogs for a while now and always enjoy reading different perspectives from around the country. I think you have to be under 30 to be considered for the YPN network, correct? Bummer if that is the case as I am now 34. I should have got more involved a few years ago. Continue the good work everyone.
