I have a new favorite. I think you will love it too. Evernote is more than just a tool for note-taking. Evernote is a cloud productivity tool where I can write, save, tag, share and sync my notes. I started using Evernote on my iPad, then installed it on my laptop and grabbed the app for my Android. A note I start on my iPad can be edited on my Android and finished on my laptop. Seamless. Truly. Awesome.
There are 4 ways to take a note:
1. Write it out
2. Record your voice
3. Take a photo note
4. Grab a Web clip
Writing (or typing) is the most common way I take a note. I use Evernote to start most of my blog posts now. Even a video post requires a bit of planning, so starting here makes sense. This works like a charm if you are taking notes in a meeting or class too! Taking notes while hammering out a deal over the phone? Write them in Evernote. Even email them to the other agent.
I use the voice record notes when I’m in my car, which is all the time. These are perfect for recording ideas, things to remember, and to-do lists.
Photo notes are fun and useful when shopping out in the real world. Snap a quick pic of anything to save it to a wish list or similar.
Grabbing Web clips is a great way to save an entire page or a snippet of a page to a note. The Evernote Web clipper tool lives right on your tool bar so it’s super handy and easy to use.
Notes in Evernote are organized by notebook (you can name each notebook you create) and by tags you add to your notes. You can also sort by date, title or last updated. I was really surprised by how much I could do in Evernote.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad to see a comment about Evernote here. Have been using(it’s my fix) since 2008. Learning as I go. Have tons of notes, notebooks, photos, etc.
For me the BEST feature is stacks and notebooks. My WHOLE life is there. I think in terms of categories Real Estate,grocery, auto, financial, garden, fun, etc. I use a ScanSnap s1300 scanner and scan every receipt, pic, article etc. directly into my inbox or directly to a designated notebook. It’s ALWAYS available. I hardly use other programs because EN has it all. Wonderful to be able to pull up a past client’s notebook, see everything about a transaction, including what I coulda/would/shoulda/ done and with their info right there! It’s like having a secret Pandora’s box! Wish I could use Twitter as well….learning. Also trying to get a gravatar… Keep Using…it’s a great addiction!
