As 2020 ramps up and spring selling season approaches, keep your members engaged with these ideas for events and activities from other YPN groups around the country.
1. Introduce YPNers to leadership.
Columbus REALTORS® YPN organized a networking and discussion-based event to connect YPN members with the association’s leadership, including its CEO and new president.
This morning, the Young Professionals Network was joined by over 50 members to listen and engage with Columbus Realtors’ leadership, President Andy Mills & CEO John Geha. It was a successful morning full of fantastic conversations and networking. #ypn #columbusrealtors pic.twitter.com/HbRmay8AzF

2. Alleviate tax tensions.
Newer real estate professionals could especially benefit from events like this one organized by the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS®, which includes tax professionals on hand to provide tax tips and advice. Breakfast and networking included, too.
Join YPN on February 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to learn more about keeping your commission with tax experts. The cost for this class is $10, and members can receive one Awards of Excellence point for attending. Register Now: https://t.co/h078TsUedb pic.twitter.com/E42Etqs6JB

3. YPN screams for ice cream.
If your group is looking for venues other than a bar or restaurant, consider other types of locally-owned businesses. The West Georgia Board of REALTORS® chose Sweet Southern Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt for its latest networking get together.
4. Host a spring clean-up.
It’s always a good time to get out in the community and take on clean-up or beautification projects. Give back while building camaraderie between your YPN members.
5. Bring people together with beignets.
Mardi Gras is a fun theme for a spring gathering. The REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties is hosting a two-hour evening networking event at a local mansion on Fat Tuesday this year.

Thanks so much for including my event. It was a lot of fun and might work out to be something we continue to do as an annual event. Themed events seem to bring out a bigger crowd, especially when the event is held at a trendy and new location.
