Intimidated by video? Don’t be! There’s a plethora of ways you can incorporate video into your blog or website this year, without it being over-the-top promotional (and without your mug being the only thing in front of the lens). Here are some creative tips for video newbies.

  2. Yikes totally missed the last few comments! Sorry guys …

@Brian – thank you! My videos are mostly instructional – I use a program called Camtasia (and the web cam on my laptop when I need to be on camera) to record, edit and produce my videos. I’ve also recorded with my flip cam and my regular camera on a tripod, you just have to be really good about managing your sound. If you have a decent computer and a flip cam (or similar) the software will typically come with the camera and you can edit and produce with the built-in software. I’ve also used Windows Movie Maker on occasion … good luck to you!

@Brett – I loved it! Great job and good start šŸ™‚ Keep up the good work.

@Jim – thank you. I am rarely on camera though – mostly instructional videos!

  3. Real Estate Videos when marketed correctly can give you a big jump in leads coming into your website. A video can start to appear on search engines within a day or even just an hours away. A very important tip if you decide to create your own video, make it more attractive and convincing.
